  LaserGas III ready for sale

  Shown at Achema 2009 for the first time, the LaserGas III SP for O2 measurement is now available for sale.
  This is our first product based on the compact, digital 3rd generation of electronics. The LaserGas III SP features amongst other an explosion proof design (Ex-d), compatibility with the SIL 2 requirements of the IEC 61508 standard, and a response time of 100 ms.

  NEO Monitors at ONS 2010

  NEO Monitors will be exhibiting at the ONS 2010 (Offshore Northern Seas) exhibition, which is held in Stavanger, Norway 24-27 August. You will find us at booth H 812, the booth of our Norwegian Partner Norsk Analyse .

  AT ONS 2010 we will focus on our 3rd generation of gas analysers, the LaserGas III for oxygen measurement in hazardous areas. This new compact instrument is build into flameproof enclosures (Ex de rated) and may be used in Div 1 / zone 1 applications without any purge. Moreover, the LaserGas III is designed for use in SIL 2 systems and enables response times of 100 ms.

  LaserGas II analysers compliant with SIL 1

  Our LaserGas II analysers (SP and MP version) have been externally evaluated by SCANDPOWER Risk Management (www.scandpower.com ) according to IEC standards 61508 and 61511, which address functional safety of electrical systems. Compliance has been found with the requirements of Safety Integrity Level 1 (SIL 1). The certificate of compliance and the safety analysis report with FMECA (Failure Mode, Effect and Criticality Analysis) inclusive are abvailable on request. This latest certificate underlines the suitability of our instruments for safety critical process control applications.

  First portable TDL analyser for HF

  NEO Monitors, the Norwegian manufacturer of cutting edge laser-based gas analysers, launches with the LaserGas III Portable for hydrogen fluoride (HF) its first portable instrument ever made. Based on the compact 3rd generation of electronics this new instrument is battery powered and designed for fast and reliable measurement on the spot.
  The LaserGas III Portable HF Analyser is the solution for reliable detection of short-term HF concentrations, which represent a serious risk to the work force. Focused applications are potroom worker protection and mapping of plant emissions, both in Aluminium smelters, leakage detection in refinery alkylation plants, or HF stack gas testing in general.

  LaserGas II analysers support Modbus

  We are happy to announce that we from now on can offer communication via the Modbus protocol for all our LaserGas II and LaserDust instruments. NEO Monitors' solution is based on the industrial Ethernet protocol Modbus-TCP (an open standard see www.modbus.org). All instruments equipped with the optional Ethernet board will feature Modbus from now on.
